Silicon Checker Brick Introduction
Silicon checker brick is used as a carrier for high-temperature heat. Its working principle is to first burn coal gas, use the generated high temperature flue gas to heat the lattice brick of the regenerator, and then heat the cold wind through the hot lattice brick, and alternately rotate the hot air furnace. Combustion and air supply are carried out to continuously obtain high temperature hot air in the blast furnace. The function of the hot blast stove is to heat the cold air sent from the blower to the blast furnace into hot air, and then the hot air is sent to the blast furnace through the hot air duct for combustion reaction.
During the air supply period, the cold air from the blower enters the hot air furnace, which is heated by the checker brick into hot air, and is sent to the blast furnace through the hot air duct. The checkered brick is mainly used in hot air stoves. When the hot air is lower than 900 °C, clay is generally used. When the wind temperature is higher than 900 °C, the checkered brick is made of high alumina, mullite, sillimanite and silicon.
Silicon Checker Brick Feature
1. Strong creep resistance, which is not easy to creep or collapse at high temperatures.
2. Strong heat storage capacity.
3. High temperature gas scouring.
4.It has excellent thermal shock resistance and is highly resistant to thermal stress caused by temperature changes caused by cold wind and hot air.

Silicon Checker Brick Application
Silicon checker brick is mainly used in hot air stoves. When the hot air is lower than 900 °C, clay is generally used. When the wind temperature is higher than 900 °C, silicon checker brick is made of high alumina, mullite, sillimanite and silicon.
Under the same conditions, the large blast furnace adopts the traditional 7-hole brick with diameter 30mm19 hole brick and 43mm diameter to increase the air temperature by 38°C; the small and medium blast furnace adopts the 19-hole brick with the diameter of 25mm31 hole brick to increase the air temperature by 19°C.
