Silicon carbide is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke, wood chips and other raw materials by high temperature smelting in an electric resistance furnace. Carbonaceous graphite is divided into natural graphite and artificial graphite. Artificial graphite is a series of processing of carbon containing raw materials into carbonaceous graphite. It has high temperature and wear resistance, high temperature strength and good chemical stability. The main component of graphite is carbon, and its chemical formula is C.
