Mixing of high strength wear resistant refractory castables.
a. High strength wear resistant refractory castables are generally woven bag packaging: composed of a mixture and a binder, the bonding agent is separately packaged.
b. After adding the high strength wear resistant refractory castable (mixture and binder) to the mixer, dry it for 3min~5min to make the mixture and the binder in the bag open and package, then disperse evenly and thoroughly mix (maintain the same color), then add 5 at a time. 5% to 6.5% (pH = 6.5 ~ 7.5) of clean tap water, while stirring with water, the wet mixing time should not be less than 5min (time should be fully guaranteed). Water should not be added arbitrarily. It must be weighed with a weighing instrument (special water measuring cup). Strict control of the water supply at the lower limit is an important measure to ensure the refractory material strength and various performance indicators.
c. Each mixed high strength wear resistant refractory castable must be used up within 30 minutes. If the refractory castable is found to have agglomerated or loses fluidity, it should be disposed of. The refractory castables that have been prepared have not been mixed with water during the construction process.
High strength wear resistant refractory castables are formed.
a. After the mixed high strength wear resistant refractory castable is added to the construction working surface at one time, the vibrating rod is vibrated to the surface of the high strength wear resistant castable and no large amount of bubbles escape. The joint of the support template is sealed with sealing tape to prevent leakage of slurry. Once there is leakage, the strength of the refractory castable will be affected.
b. The vibrator inserted into the high strength wear resistant castable should be fixed , the casting should be symmetrically and continuously continuous, the vibrating application should be carried out with a portable vibrating bar for mechanical vibration and artificial tanning. If necessary, vibrate the surface of the template properly. The movement distance of the crowbar is 200mm, and the vibration time is about 30s. The method of "quick insertion" and "slow pumping" is adopted to move slowly until the surface reflow does not generate bubbles. The vibration time should not be too long, no leakage, no vibration. When the vibration is completed, the rod should be slowly pulled, otherwise the deflection will occur, which will affect the refractory material, strength and performance.
c.During construction, it is better to pour the thickness to the specified thickness and the vibration is completely compact. For thicker parts, a layered construction method should be adopted. When the upper layer of the refractory castable is used, the vibrating rod should touch 1/3 of the layer to be poured below, so that the upper and lower refractory castables are tightly combined.
d.The support of the wooden block supporting the casting thickness during construction is not allowed to fall into or remain in the template being poured.
e. High strength wear resistant refractory castables that have been transported to the work surface must be used up before they are initially set. High strength wear resistant refractory castables that have been initially set are no longer usable.
Maintenance and demoulding of high strength wear resistant refractory castables.
a. After the pouring material is finished, the temperature is below 20℃, the demoulding time shall not be less than 96h, and the mold release shall not be less than 48h when it is above 20°C
b. After the castable is wet-cured, it must be subjected to strict heat curing and baking. It can only be put into use after it has been cured by heat and baked.
