Heavy Mullite Brick Introduction
Heavy Mullite Brick is a high alumina refractory material mainly composed of mullite (3Al2O3-2SiO2). Generally, alumina content is between 65% and 75%. In addition to mullite, the mineral composition contains a small amount of glass phase and cristobalite, and a higher alumina content also contains a few corundum.
Heavy Mullite Brick Advantages
High refractoriness, up to 1790 °C. Load softening starts at a temperature of 1600 to 1700 °C. Normal temperature compressive strength is 70 to 260 MPa. Excellent thermal shock resistance.
Heavy Mullite Brick Classification
There are two kinds of sintered mullite fire bricks and electric fused mullite refractory bricks.
Production process of sintered heavy mullite refractory bricks is similar to that of high alumina refractory bricks. Mullite clinker is selected as the granule, the fine powder is composed of the mullite clinker, or the white fused alumina, the quartz powder and the pure clay are used to prepare the mixed fine powder corresponding to the mullite composition. The granular material and the fine powder are cooperated according to the ratio, the common ratio is: 45% to 55% of the granular material, and 55% to 45% of the fine powder (<0.088 mm).
The crystal of fused mullite is larger than sintered mullite, the thermal shock resistance is better than that of sintered refractory products. Their high temperature function depends primarily on the alumina content and the uniformity of the mullite phase and glass distribution.
Heavy Mullite Brick Application
Heavy mullite bricks are mainly used for hot blast stove tops, blast furnace shafts and furnace bottoms, glass melting furnace regenerators, ceramic sintering kiln, and petroleum cracking system dead angle linings.
Mullite Insulation Brick Introduction
Lightweight mullite brick has good quality and light heat preservation effect. Refractory brick is a high-quality high-purity refractory powder. It participates in organic composite fillers, vacuum kneading, high-temperature sintering and light mullite refractory products. According to different standards, light mullite brick produced by Haoyang Industrial Co., Ltd. has an alumina content ranging from 50% to 80%.
Mullite insulation brick is an insulating refractory material with mullite as the main crystalline phase and combined phase. The high alumina bauxite clinker is the primary raw material, and the high quality high purity refractory powder is added. The composite filler is cast and fired at a high temperature into a light mullite refractory product.
Mullite Insulation Brick Advantage
1.High purity and low impurity content
2.Low thermal conductivity, low heat capacity
3. High strength and excellent thermal shock resistance
4.High temperature resistance, can directly touch the flame
Mullite Insulation Brick Application
Lightweight mullite refractory bricks used in cracking furnace, reforming furnace, heating equipment, refining equipment, regenerative equipment, hot blast stove, heating furnace, soaking furnace, heat treatment furnace, electric resistance furnace, tunnel kiln, roller kiln, bell kiln, glass kiln and so on.
