Chrome Corundum Brick Color
The raw materials used in the chrome corundum series are a solid solution which is synthesized by a certain ratio of alumina and chrome oxide and melted at a high temperature. No matter how much the amount is added, it will not lower the fire resistance of the material, but will improve the fire resistance of the material.
Strength of Chrome Corundum
The normal temperature compressive strength of high purity corundum bricks is generally 70~100Mpa. The normal temperature compressive strength of high performance chrome corundum bricks is generally >150Mpa, and its strength is obviously higher than that of corundum bricks.
Thermal Shock Stability of Chrome Corundum
Adding Cr2o3 to corundum, when the content of Cr2o3 is 10%~66%, the thermal shock stability of the material decreases with the increase of Cr2o3 content. The chrome corundum brick with low content has better thermal shock stability than chrome corundum with high Cr2O3 content. Brick, Zhengzhou Rongsheng refractory production of high-performance chrome corundum brick Cr2O3 content between 12% and 20%, its thermal shock stability is improved compared with corundum brick: especially the addition of a small amount of phase change additives to produce chrome corundum brick The thermal shock stability is better.
